How offensive is the word "Mincing" to gay folks? Honestly? I mean, Douglas use of it in his acceptance speech was in the context of self discovery and enlightenment over his own homophobia. Is it so offensive you would willingly let your're history be destroyed?

The question I'd really like answered is this.

 Why did it take Douglas's use of that word to finally get gay people talking about the transphobic nature of Leto's part in the "Dallas Buyers Guide"? After the ad nauseum interviews stroking Jared Leto for his "courage" in taking the part of a low life tranny hooker we finally get some recognition because of Douglas saying "Mincing"?

It wasn't Leto's acting, or his effort to portray my community, or even his acceptance speech that offended. It was the part he was handed in the Dallas Buyers Guide and the movies misinformation about the HIV/AIDs epidemic in the 80's that made us ill.

 We were both disgusted by the movie full of ugly jokes about transwomen, inaccuracies regarding hiv medication. The character railed against AZT with boxes in the background labeled zidovudine, which is btw AZT!

 They were more interested in making fun of trans women than portraying accurately the true story, while purportedly telling a story based on a historic person."

Pico Rivera trans student Staceyy Holidayy suspended for act of gender rebellion

El Rancho high school student Staceyy Holidayy was suspended Wednesday after school officials determined that her top violated the schools dress code . The code which does not specify gender, states that "Tank tops, spaghetti straps, halter tops and low cut tops may not be worn. Bare midriffs may not be exposed."

Ms. Holidayy wore this top in hopes of exposing the schools non compliance with AB 1266 which remains in effect until such a time that the petition effort shows they have not duplicated a certain percentage of signatures. Until then the school is obliged to abide by the law which they contend they have.

Staceyy Holidayy says they are not, having left her no option but to use the teachers bathroom and the Nurses office to change for PE.

El Rancho Unified School District Superintendent Martin Galindo said although she was given a choice school officials decided it would be 'safer' for her to change for P.E. class in the nurse’s office and use the office’s restroom.

Galindo said she agreed to the arrangement, while Holidayy says she had no choice but to do so. “It made me feel bad and different using the nurse’s office,” she told The Whittier Daily News

Transgender high school student Jewlyes Gutierrez stood her ground now faces battery charges

Hercules High school student Jewlyes Gutierrez retaliated after years of being bullied and now faces legal charges for defending herself.
The three girls who attacked including Gutierrez were suspended and latter made public apologies to each other. The school which ignored her initial complaints prior to the fight will be updating it's student guidelines this month, presumably to include gender identity.

The school's district president thought the fight which like the dozens of other fights on school grounds that occur yearly, had been properly handled and a resolution achieved.

But the District attorney does not agree and is pursuing battery charges against Gutierrez.



Charles Ramsey, the school district's president says that the District attorneys decision is "completely biased and absurd."

"There are fights that happen at school campuses every day. What's the real motive here?" he lashed out to the Daily News by phone Thursday.

Of the 21 years he's served on the school board, after previously serving as an attorney, he argues: "I've never seen something where a child has been bullied and, yeah, they did something inappropriate but the school dealt with it."
"They went through a period of apologizing to one another and then going back to school. And then the district attorney filed criminal charges? Wow," he said.

Ramsey said he praises the teen's bravery for turning the situation into a public discussion after bringing the charge's attention not just to the school board — which claims to have otherwise not realized what had been done — but to local media as well.

"This is just a young child who is 16-years-old, already going through a lot of stress," he said. "This is a remedy? Is this the way we want to deal with children?"

If you agree with the the Contra Costa school president and her friends and family that these charges should be dropped there is a petition you can sign.

Standing up for ones self in a fight is nothing compared to speaking about it in front of the school board as Jewlyes Gutierrez did.

Petition effort to repeal Cal Trans student inclusive law goes to next step

Filers like the one to the left posted in public school restrooms combined with the lies of the signature gathers drove enough people to sign a petition calling for a public vote on AB 1266. The petition fell short of the number of valid signatures needed to automatically force a vote.

Now each and every signature will now be checked for authenticity and if a certain amount are valid, AB 1266, the bill which levels the field for transgender California school children will be voted on.

Last week a court gave special privilege to the hate group sponsoring this drive and ruled that the signatures that were delivered after the post office closed on the cutoff date would be allowed, thus adding enough valid signatures to reach this point.

"Privacy for students" is rejoice  in demonizing trans student in their effort to force a vote on a law helping trans student succeed. But let it be known, gay and lesbian folks, if they succeed in this they will not stop.

San Antonio Transman Matthew Hileman files discrimination complaint against ATT

Hileman left his job as a consultant of AT&T in September. He says he had no other choice because two coworkers threatened him by posting a note on his chair after they discovered his secret gender identity (sic).

"Frankly it was a no smoking sign that said 'no fag'," said Justin Nichols, Hileman's lawyer. "And it was interpreted by my client as a direct threat," he added.

Now Hileman is making San Antonio history. His case is billed by his attorney as the first complaint filed under the non-discrimination ordinance.

Oneal Ron Morris South Florida Transgender "Fake butt doctor" begins serving sentence

Transgender woman Oneal Ron Morris turned herself in to serve a 365 day sentence for injecting peoples rear ends with a toxic mixture.

Morris escaped a possible 15 year sentence because police were unable to verify the contents of the injections due to the delays in reporting the crimes by the victims.

Morris will serve this sentence which may only be 6 months with time served but she still has to stand trial for manslaughter for injecting a person in Broward county.

Are "Living Dolls" Men who wear feminine rubber suits under the Trans Umbrella?

To be clear these men are not transgender, "Masking" is a 'weird' cisgender fetish.

Trans people are on a quest to live authentically, something that could never be done behind a mask. Sentiments like these were expressed by my friends over and over after I broached this subject yesterday after seeing this article at the Daily Mail which began with this:

So it's perfectly acceptable for trans woman to wear breast forms and trans men to wear penis prosthesis but it's troubling, even weird when one wears a rubber body suit? After all, one of the major purveyors of these suits FemSkin is loaded with transgender links. Maybe there are already many trans identified people masking? And who am I to judge all of humankind transkind and cisgender?





My 2 cents? I believe in live and let live but for the life of me I do not understand what motivates people to do this. It also weirds me out. Sorry, guys but masks do that to me.

One friend commented that this pastime reminds her of autogynephilia that formally was the basis of the DSM prognosis of transsexualism:

The DSM V no longer includes Blanchard's abhorrent stigmatization of trans people due to our increased visibility and that's not something that could be accomplished behind a mask.

Or maybe perhaps social perceptions can be changed by someone behind a mask. The annual Rubber Doll World Rendezvous has an explicit set of rules that for the life of me appear focused on improving the worlds perception of "Masking". After all, Look what Anonymous is accomplishing and no they didn't 'weird' me out.

So are Living Dolls under the trans umbrella or just cis people engaging in harmless Cosplay?

David O. Russell a wealthy Hollywood producer has admitted to police he sexually assaulted his his transgender niece Nicole Peloquin pictured right. According to The Smoking Gun and the LA Times it is 'unlikely' charges will be filed because there were no police witnesses to the crime.
Russell freely admitted to doing this at the in the gym at the Embassy Suites in Deerfield Beach Fl. but excused it saying she was 'acting provocatively' indicating in his opinion she asked for it.

Toronto Star ethics report "Transgender man’s behaviour in changeroom unacceptable"

Today's story by Ken Gallinger the Toronto Star's  "Ethically speaking columnist" is, well highly unethical. At best its lazy journalism. Worst case its a mainstream writer using his bully pulpit to amplify hate and fear of transgender people. The headline misgendering trans woman combined with the accompany image and an absence of sourcing or anything indicating this as an alleged occurrence gives the accusations of the alleged victim validity.

A cisgendger woman wrote to him about an alleged occurrence in a dressing room that if true would invoke the wrath of trans people as well as cisgender.

"I am a senior woman. Recently, a “man” claiming to be transgender, who had not yet begun physical treatments, was permitted by our local Y to use the women’s locker room. There are no secure change rooms. The person they allowed in was not courteous and stared at me while I struggled out of a wet bathing suit. He was naked, had an erection and playfully asked ‘do you come here often?’ I understand that gender is no longer judged solely by genitalia, but does a brief contact with the duty manager mean that men not yet committed to gender reassignment are free to disrobe anywhere they choose?"

Gallinger then goes on to state law and his opinion never once questioning the validity of the story or supplying interviews with witnesses or the Y's manager. As a sister Journalist and one with an agenda I am aware of the importance of journalistic integrity, obviously not an issue for Mr. Gallinger.

Disgraced Utah AG John Swallow's staffers think a trans woman is a "Tranny Thing"

Emails between staffers exchanged during Swallows reelection campaign under the heading of "feeding" disparaged Republican delegates calling them "goat's after a tin can" because they were paying for meals during the convention..

Yes, they were talking about their own party members. They were just getting warmed up.

Other emails exchanged between staffers discussing a photo of the transgender delegate one staffer said she didn't want a 'up the skirt shot' of the delegate referring to her as "the infamous cross dresser".

According to Talking Points  "the emails were made public in court documents unsealed on Thursday, and were part of an affidavit tied to the investigation of Swallow, fellow former Utah Attorney General Mark Shurtleff, and others. The documents were first reported on by The Salt Lake Tribune."

The warrants seek evidence of numerous crimes, including obstruction of justice, witness tampering and retaliation, soliciting and accepting bribes, evidence tampering, harassment and tax evasion.

Swallow who left the  office of Utah Attorney General in disgrace was replaced by Sean Reyes who quickly initiated the Supreme Court challenge against a lower court ruling allowing same sex marriage in Utah

Coincidence or not?  The former Attorney general  is also under investigation for illegally accepting money from payday loan companies while a few states away  the Burnt Orange Report has revealed Governor Perry has appointed a vice president of a payday loan company to oversee the Finance Commission of Texas.

Coincidence of not? Texas's leading Republican for the Governors office is Attorney General Greg Abbott who is also vehemently opposed to LGBT rights and who would also benefit by his connection with predatory loaners

Help with name and gender marker change comes to Pittsburgh PA and other cities

The Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund (TLDEF) has begun a project making it possible for trans people to change their legal name and gender marker in connection with the Pittsburgh's Garden of Peace Project .

The TLDEF has also initiated the project in the Albany NY, Milwaukee WI, New York City NY, Pittsburgh PA and Rochester NY where attorneys have stepped forward to work Pro Bono.

Having changed my name and gender in a Texas court in 2007 I can attest how daunting and expensive that task was. After I did it and learned the process I showed many friends the less expensive path only paying court costs. But its got be done right the first time. The TLDEF can help with that.

Happy Birthday Facebook scammer Lorenza Brian Dutman and goodby

Its Lorenza Brian Dutman birthday today!

Lorenza Brian Dutman facebook profile was "born" quite a few years ago. That's the first thing I check after being invited for friendship by a male on facebook.

A girl can't be too careful these days. Dutman's profile also included many pictures of himself with children and others. So OK, he passed the initial screening and I accepted his friendship.

Dutman then messaged me later introducing himself  but I thoroughly vet who I respond to and I just never got around to it, so his message went unread until today.

Today a friend included me in a group message about Dutman. Many of the other girls in the message responded saying they had been contacted by this person and ultimately been asked for money. One said she her friend had been bilked of thousands by him.

In all probilblity the images this scammer uses are pilfered and in the event the real owner steps forward I will of course remove them.

But until then the pictures will remain up, a warning to my trans sisters like me in our fifties.

Seems Dutman has built quite a reputation all around the web....first from Romance Scam.com...

One cruel mans who preys on vulnerable transgender woman's profile is deleted. But he's morphed so be aware. 

Knife wielding Miami Transgender woman slashes cab robs driver

The police are looking for this person they have identified as transgender. She was picked up by a cab at the Oakland Flea market in south Miami and proceeded to rob the driver.

It's not known how the police ascertained this person is transgender or exactly what the arrest warrant states.
